August 5, 1972. The London Rock And Roll Revival Show was the first concert ever to be staged at Wembley Stadium, the largest and most prestigious venue in the country. Just imagine--Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Bill Haley, and Chuck Berry, all at one event!

Director Peter Clifton captured the best of the excitement on film, winding up with the 84 minutes of unadulterated brilliance featured here. His cameras were rolling everywhere, backstage where he caught musicians and onlookers alike in fine form such as Mick Jagger murmuring enthusiastically about so many of his teenage heroes.

In 1972, Rock & Roll had a revival show. By 1975, it was a way of life.
