Love on the Run

In Truffaut's fifth and final film of his semi-autobiographical "Antoine Doinel" series, we now see Doinel in his 30's and newly divorced. Still ambivalent about relationships, the death of Doinel's mother forces him to look into himself and confront his insecurities. In his self-exploration, he rekindles many relationships from his past while trying to forge ahead into the future and perhaps the possibility of a new lasting relationship. Clips and characters from the four previous "Doinel" films makes this charming and sentimental film a must-see for any Truffanunt fan.
