With a distinct relation to The Blair Witch Project and Survivor, Voodoo Nightmare takes us into the jungles of South East Asia to the legend of the Pontianak, a Malay young female reputed to be very beautiful yet demonic. A group of young Americans embark on a 2-day hike into the jungle of Malaysia. They encounter a Malay girl who gives them an eerie feeling of discomfort. The group gets little rest that night, and the next day things are not as they should be. The group realize that they're being hunted down by the young woman. She carries with her a dark secret, and each of the young Americans must face their own fateful destiny at the mercy of her seductive powers.
