Julian Goldberger's award-winning film tells the story of fifteen-year old Ryan Kazinski who dreams his days away in Florida's juvenile detention system.When a riot erupts between inmates and guards, the window of freedom is propped open, allowing Ryan to escape into the neighboring orange groves.

After negotiating his way through alligator infested swamps and freakish encounters, Ryan hitches a ride back to his hometown where he reckons with police, hostile thugs, fraternal ties, and a born again desire to find his estranged mother.Inevitably, it is Ryan's frailty that is his undoing - but not before securing one last definitive moment of solace.
