Originally part of RCA Red Seal's Toscanini Video Collection, Toscanini - The Maestro features interviews with members of the NBC Symphony, Robert Merrill, Jarmila Novotna, Herva Nelli, Licia Albanese and others, plus photographs, documents, original recordings and a selection of rarely shown home movies. Also includes a complete performance of Verdi's Hymn of the Nations featuring Jan Peerce.
