It is almost 10 years since one of rock's most accomplished composers passed away. Frank Zappa, a man whose music paid homage to contemporary classical figures such as Stravinsky and Stockhausen, as well as late-'50s doo-wop and the guitar-heavy rock that dominated pop in the '70s. Zappa was a satirist with a wicked sense of humour and lyrics of questionable taste, but he was also one of the most prolific artists of his time, recording about 50 albums during his 40 years in music. Does Humor Belong In Music is taken from a live recording of Zappa's planned final tour in 1984 and was originally released on VHS in 1985.
