When Judy Garland signed the most lucrative deal of her career for her own weekly TV series, she couldn't have known that show was about to create her best audio-video record as a concert artist. Throughout the 1963-1964 season, Garland continually crafted work that is still astounding new generations via the award-winning DVDs of "The Judy Garland Show."

The reasons these hours of videotape retain their potency nearly 40 years later are many. Judy was at the peak of her powers, and her career, and rarely looked and sounded better as an adult. Along with presenting a healthy collection of Garland standards from her vast catalog, she also performed scores of songs she never sang before or after the series.
