Meet Marin Asagi, an ordinary teenage orphan with an extraordinary problem: she's the target of a mysterious object in the sky called Brigadoon. Just when Marin is about to lose all hope of surviving the incessant wave of mecha-like weapons sent from Brigadoon to capture her, a Gun-Swordsman Monomakia protector named Melan Blue appears to defend her.
