The Big Day

Before there's an I Do, there may be an I Don't.

It's Sara (Julianna Margulies) and John's (Ivan Sergei) wedding day. All is bliss - Right? Wrong. It seems that John's fumbling brother Zack (Clayton Rohner) has picked today to confess a past indiscretion. This "confession" sends John into a hilarious downward spiral of paranoia and doubt, culminating in a stolen car and a "no show" to the wedding.

The family, headed by a social climbing mother (Dixie Carter) and an oblivious good ol' boy (Kevin Tighe) starts to unravel. Their daughter (Kathleen York) begs her ex (Adrian Pasdar) to be her date and their son (Tom Virtue) tries to entertain everybody with his persistent and exhausting imitations of 1970's movie stars. Add in a wedding band with a sense of humor, a few groomsmen on the make, and you've got a nutty wedding party in search of a groom.
