The Last Time I Saw Paris (Laserlight)

Elizabeth Taylor is stunning in her portrayal of high society beauty Helen Ellswirth, a young socialite who lives with her eccentric ex-patriot father in post WWII Paris. She falls in love with and marries a young American journalist, Charles (Van Johnson), whose ambition is to become a novelist. Together they get caught up in a reckless and carefree lifestyle with their friends of the Parisian artistic society. They find out too late that this kind of life does not mix well with marriage, family and career.
