Flying the F4U - Warbird pilot and unlimited air racer Steve Hinton takes you along on an aerial adventure in the legendary U.S. Marine Corps fighter flown by ace pilot Major Gregory "Pappy" Boyington and his Black Sheep squadron. This aircraft is the Marines' most famous prop-driven fighter. With 2100 horsepower up front, the F4U serves as both a land-and-carrier-based fighter, starting with its conception in 1938, through World War II, the Korean conflict and the Indo China war. Crank up the volume and feel the magic of Dolby Digital surround sound; turn your home theater into the cockpit of the mighty F4U Corsair. "The Young Pilots" - The true exploits of U.S. Marine Corps pilot Verne Salisbury during the heat of aerial combat over the South Pacific make this daring episode of "Roaring Glory Warbirds" the most exciting one yet! From his life-and-death dogfights with Japanese Zero fighter aces to terrifying saboteurs at his own base, this young pilot experienced war as few men have. Even a training mission in the newly-designed F4U Corsair nearly cost him his life when both fuel supply and luck ran out!
