Etienne lives in Rouen with his mother, Caroline (Ariane Ascaride). On his sixteenth birthday, he receives a video camera and starts recording the random events of his life. Whether is at home with his family, at school with his friends, or at the ice rink where he figure skates - Etienne is constantly observing the world through the lens of his camera. Filming, however, is not an entirely innocent pastime, and a growing interest in men is soon revealed on tape.
