InuYasha (2000) follows the adventures of Kagome Higurashi, a modern-day teenager who travels back in time to Japan's Sengoku period, where she meets the half-demon InuYasha. Together, they embark on a quest to gather the shards of the powerful Shikon Jewel and prevent its misuse by malevolent forces.
