In the animated film The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1987), young Dorothy is swept away from her Kansas home to the magical Land of Oz, where she embarks on a quest to see the Wizard who can help her return home. Along the way, she befriends the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion, each seeking something special from the Wizard as well.
