In a post-apocalyptic world, martial artist Kenshiro confronts a tyrannical ruler who oppresses the inhabitants of a desolate city, utilising his deadly combat technique, Hokuto Shinken. As he battles to bring hope and justice, the oppressed inhabitants find new courage to resist their oppressors.
