In 'Dreaming Lhasa' (2006), a Tibetan-American filmmaker named Karma travels to Dharamsala, India to document stories of Tibetan political ex-prisoners. Along the way, she uncovers her own heritage and becomes entangled in a quest involving a retired monk and a mysterious relic.
