The Littlest Horse Thieves

It's 1909 and a Yorkshire coal mine has just hired a new manager Richard Sandman, to find a way to make it more profitable. Sandman notices that the pit ponies, with the exception of 14 year old Flash, are slow in hauling the coal. He decides that the innocent ponies must be replaced with machinery. Two little boys who help tend the horses are concerned about what will happen to the horses once the machinery comes in. When they discover that the ponies will be slaughtered, they stage a daring rescue and steal the ponies to save their lives.
