Chang Ching (Chow Yun Fat) is a Chinese descendent in U.S. He is a brilliant CIA and in a mission he has demonstrated his professional quality. Then he is assigned to the next mission to Beijing, where he has to bring "a treasure" back to US. TO Ching's surprise, he is being settled at the Shaolin Temple where he encounters a young girl, Siu Ching (Wu Chien Lin).
