Max Baer Jr. (who also wrote and produced) plays a vengeful Southern sheriff who is out for blood after his wife is brutally killed by a pair of drifters. The sheriff mistakes brothers Chris and Wayne (Alan and Jesse Vint) as the men responsible for his wife's killing. This sets into motion a series of tragic events. Low-budget film set in Georgia in 1954 and based on fact, it was a surprise box-office smash.
